Some puppies have a home......

We have had a lot of people come to look at the puppies. The male with the yellow collar actually went home to his forever home yesterday. The other male with the orange collar has paid their deposit and he will go home on Friday.

I am still waiting on the deposit for the blonde female (pink collar) and Daisy the other blonde female will go to her new home on Wednesday.

Right now I have 3 chocolate females still available. I have had many calls and people coming tonight and tomorrow night to look at them. If you are interested, please give me a call. The puppies are ready to go home.

The puppies are all up and walking, barking and being cute little doggies now. Its getting really hard to get good pictures of all of the dogs together. They wont sit down long enough. Each one is getting their own little personality too! Well I better get back to work, I just wanted to send a little update with some new pictures

They are growing up........

The puppies have all opened their eyes this week and are all starting to walk around. I sent off for their registration papers....... We are almost half way in. I am going to start feeding them "mush" this week and they are going on a field trip to see Dr. Regina Horne ~ our vet in Daphne.

They will get worm medicine and weighed. Im excited to see how good they are doing. They are definetly getting socialized. When we are home, they spend alot of their time out with us, exploring the family room. That gives mommy meg a nice little break as well. Bless her heart she is a great momma, but I could not imagine nursing 7 little pups. They never seem to be satisfied.....

Anyways, they are so cute! We cant wait to find them great loving homes so they can go make other families happy too!!!

Male puppies ...... $300 a piece

Here are the pictures of my two chocolate lab males (yellow and orange neck bands). I will post the female pictures when I get new camera batteries.

They will be 6 weeks old on July 29th. I am asking for a $100 deposit within 1 week of picking your dog and the balance paid at pick up. I will reduce asking price ONLY if you pay for the first vet bill and shot. If I dont have to do that, you can get a price reduction, otherwise I am firm on price.

Thanks!!!

Good morning!!!

This morning at "nap time and mommy free time"

I got up early this morning, why I don't know. But it gave me some time alone with Meg and her pups while the kids slept. Meg got a bath today, she needed it... so that was alot of fun. She also got to eat breakfast alone while the pups slept and I changed their bedding. I gave her tuna mixed in and she loved it. Its her treat and makes her coat ever more shiny....

She stood by the bowl after she got done so I gave her another scoop of food and she turned her nose up at it....it was missing the tuna. Little food critic!!

The puppies are all doing really well. We lost one yesterday, she died while I was at work. Katie came to care for them and found her. He was the yellow lab with the red band.

All the puppies got new necklaces so to speak. I went and got Rick-Rack ribbon. I have seen on other sites people use it, so I picked it up in their colors.

So all is well, I am going to go outside with Meg now and then take her in so she can be with her pups.

Female Lab Puppies

These are the female puppies:

White band

Purple Band

Turquoise Band

Light Blue band

Pink band

Male Lab Puppies

Yellow band

Orange Band

Red band ~ we lost him yesterday while I was at work... it was sad for me and the kids but I did have the talk with them about the fact that not all puppies make it. He will be missed, he was a cutie!

Puppy photo shoot tonight

We decided to take pictures of all the puppies and "mark" them with colors so I can keep up with who is who.........thanks to our favorite photographer Katie!!

Puppies.........

Meg had 8 puppies total:

1 white female
3 Chocolate females
2 Chocolate males
1 Blonde female
1 Blonde male

Meg and puppies.....Daddy Sam

The puppies have been born....

The kids and I came home from work yesterday and summer day camp to find Meg....plus two puppies. The kids asked me in the car on the way home if I thought we would have puppies today....I assured them it was not the day. Lo and behold, it was the day. She had her first two puppies prior to our arrival and had the remaining 6 puppies within 3 hours of us arriving.

Meg did such a wonderful job with them. She really did not need me there at all, but I did help move them around when she was busy delivering another puppy. And once all was done, Katie (a friend of mine) came to help me temporarily relocate mom and pups and clean up their room.

I went to bed around 12:00 and did not get woken up at all. Momma Meg is doing great with them this morning. The kids and I cleaned and fed Meg. Let her out for a little bit and then left her with fresh food and water and a clean area. Katie will be coming to the house today to be there for the dogs.

Let the fun begin! We are all really excited!!!
